Dean Potter is gone forever. What a sad news. I was lost for words early this week, but today I decided to write something.

Slackline would no be what it is today without him. He inspired a generation of slackliners and took it to a whole new level. Andy Lewis and myself were watching his videos a while back. Without him, I would not be slacklining today. Dean changed my life forever : he is one of my climbing, basejumping and slackline hero. What a genious and audacious man, always one step headed in term of boltness and creativity. Dean is one the most outstanding sport athlete of the 20/21st century – absolutely.
